Making waves at the 2021 Viking VIP Boat Show was the official world premiere of Valhalla Boatworks V-46 center console. After a long haul from Viking Mullica in New Jersey, the V-46 was full throttle ready when she reached the waters of Riviera Beach, FL. Once prepped and ready for sea trials, the V-46 surpassed all performance expectations, delivering tremendous speed, acceleration, handling, and a picture-perfect running attitude that offers excellent visibility. Valhalla Boatworks V-46 Walk-Through
The V-46 uses a Michael Peters Yacht Design double-stepped hull, along with an S-shaped sheer, double chines, and a tumblehome transom. Plenty of planning, design, and engineering went to each component that makes up this 46-foot center console. Starting with her quad 450 Mercury engines, the V-46 effortlessly reaches speeds up to 70 mph with eight people aboard. She offers plenty of live wells, outriggers, teaser reels, and more for ultimate fishability. Seating options are endless on the V-46, with pop-out seating in the transom, which can fold away to get around the cockpit more easily. She also offers lazarette seating for guests onboard.
Clear Sightlines Ahead
Moving forward on the 46 Valhalla, the area behind the helm is very spacious with dual row seating for seven, with Release chairs and an elevated 7-inch platform to maximize visibility. The second-row seating arrangement is also higher than the front, so guests in the back row will have the same great views as the captain. Her custom curved windshield and frame are key to its excellent visibility and clear sightlines. At the main helm, a full Garmin electronic suite is on display, completely flush-mounted. Admirable Accents Throughout
Faux-teak toe rails give the V-46 an admirable accent throughout, a custom design trait of Viking Yachts. Forward of the helm offers substantial seating with a sun pad and bench seating, plus port and starboard settees. Continuing towards the front of the boat, pop up cleats that are completely flushed when not in use make this V-46 clean cut. Not to mention, a well-thought-out step offers excellent accessibility to the cleats and under deck anchoring system.
Tranquil Accommodations
The larger LOA and 13-foot, 4-inch beam on the V-46 allows for a climate-controlled cabin with over six feet of headroom, accessed through the port side console door. The interior accommodations are exceptional on the V-46. A nice galley setup offers all the amenities needed to whip up a quick meal and features an entirely separated head and lounge area. The cabin is an exceptional place to get away from the elements, access the mechanical space, and enjoy a relaxed ride in private.
