Top European Manufacturers of Luxury Motor Yachts

With over 40 years in the yacht-building business, Galeon is one of the top European manufacturers of luxury motor yachts. From the drawing table to the final launch, each Galeon yacht is carefully designed and handcrafted to achieve the level of quality that the company is known for. Bold styling and attention to detail are common elements of each Galeon boat. Their lead designer, Tony Castro, has a history of award-winning vessels, some as large as 410 feet, and his expertise has earned the company many European yacht-design awards.

Galeon Yachts History

Since 1982, Galeon Yachts has steadily evolved, gaining acknowledgment for its innovative designs, unmatched performance standards, and quality. The Polish yacht builder builds in two yards and offers a private marina for owners. Galeon has also collaborated with some of the best design firms in Europe. Currently, the privately owned company employs over 1,500 people across its manufacturing departments. Their overall production facilities cover over 114,829 square feet, with plenty of space for even the largest of projects.

Within the last decade, they opened the second facility, which offers private berths for current owners and direct access to the Baltic Sea. Future models are constantly in different stages of production, with a culture of innovation driving the adoption of new technologies and partnerships.

Comfortable Galeon Yachts Reach Exclusive Expectations

A yacht begins on the drawing board and is then monitored for quality all the way to launch, and Galeon manufactures everything from the hulls to the metal fasteners. Their workshops encompass every aspect of the manufacturing process, allowing for uncompromising quality control and attention to detail at every step of construction. For some of the larger Galeon boats, creating a mold for the hull can take as long as six months.

Handmade furniture is constructed on-site, and a laminate division works together to create unique and beautiful interior spaces. The main assembly hall adds all the electronics, windows, appliances, and eventually the engines before the yacht heads for the large testing pool. Before the yacht is ready for open water, the hull is checked for balance, the engines are tested, and a rain simulator subjects every window and door to realistic conditions to ensure a proper seal against the elements.
