Cruiser's 50 Cantius yacht is the perfect size for the overnight boat owner. It is a comfortable vessel for the adventurous soul who enjoys both weekend and extended trips with ample space. It is a three-stateroom, double salon yacht that sleeps six. Despite being the smaller of its two predecessors, the Cantius 54 and 60, the Cantius 50 sports the same external and interior designs of its larger siblings, despite being smaller and more agile. This yacht comes with twin Volvo Penta IPS 600 with 435 hp each.
The helm has a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a sleek black platform design. Two large touchscreen displays make up the top of the platform slanted slightly up for easy viewing. The 50 Cantius’ captain's seat is double-wide and features luxurious upholstery. Located on the starboard side are the throttle and joystick control panel.
Next to the helm inside the vessel is the dining area complete with a horseshoe lounge and a large table. Behind the dining area is more seating and an L-shaped breakfast bar complete with a large sink. A microwave situated below the counter along with plenty of built-in storage. Behind the counter of the Cruisers 50 Cantius yacht is another dining area that separates the galley from the cockpit, allowing easy transfer of food to those guests who are outdoors.
The master stateroom has, not only a large double bed but a day couch as well. Adequate, bright white ceiling lights line the sofa and head of the bed. To both port and starboard are large horizontal windows that let in bright daylight into this full-beam master suite that offers a wealth of space.
The bath is wood-detailed, matching the design in the stateroom. A full-sized window sits above storage and the Corian countertop with sink. There is even more storage below the sink.
The 50 Cantius’ forward stateroom attests to the elegant use of space, by placing the bed in the center of the room with ledges and seating on both sides. The third stateroom is a guest room with optional twin bunk beds or day beds and an optional TV. There is still plenty of natural light and storage in this stateroom. The shared bath of these staterooms is similar to the master with natural light filling the space.
The bow of the 50 Cantius has two chaise-style lounge chairs with a retractable table in the middle. An optional canopy can be included for shade on those bright sunny days.
The stern of the boat has a grill station, transom storage, and a large swim platform. The platform can be disconnected a foot or two from the yacht to make for an extra, entertaining area.
The Cruisers 50 Cantius yacht is a smaller version of its larger brethren, but for what it lacks in length, it does not skimp on in design. It is a more compact version, not a less luxurious one and is an excellent choice for the active captain.
