Upon establishing the Benetti shipyard in 1873, Lorenzo Benetti embarked on a successful journey, launching over thirty exquisite wooden vessels within his initial three decades of operation. Following his legacy, his sons Gino and Emilio took the helm of the company after his passing in 1914, rebranding it as Fratelli Benetti or Benetti Brothers.
Paving the Way
By 1927, the next generation of Gino and Emilio’s sons had joined the family business, and by 1935, the company had proudly unveiled more than one hundred vessels, including 21 schooners, three tartans, 63 brigantines, 12 navicelli, seven cutters, and six barkentines.
