"Sea Bold" is a custom-built, one-of-one unique motor yacht, styled in a form-follows-function classic design often associated with vessels designed by C. Raymond Hunt in New Bedford, Massachusetts. She was built by the amazing team at New England Boatworks in Portsmouth, Rhode Island in 2003, and she is both stylish in design and elegant in nature, while engineered for the serious yachtsman who plans to cruise and enjoy this fine motor yacht in a variety of locations.
Originally constructed in 2003, she received a refit in 2019-2020. She is built of Kevlar and Carbon Fiber advanced composite construction for structural integrity and light weight, making her very strong. She has excellent seakeeping abilities due to her construction, along with her deep vee hull design. She has only ever been in private use, and has never been chartered.
She is capable of a fast cruising speed of 22 knots, and a top speed of 25 knots. Slower cruising is enjoyable as time permits, and her economy is very good for a vessel of her size. She is maintained by her full-time captain/engineer and a full-time stew, so she is in very, very nice condition overall.

Vessel Overview & Layout
Stepping aboard Sea Bold, you are immediately struck by the classic lines and heavy construction of this fine motor yacht. Her designers engineered her to be cruised, and not simply as a harbor queen. Heavy handholds, proper storage areas for all of her gear, good lighting, and quality construction using the best materials are easily seen throughout.
Her enclosed pilothouse is climate controlled, and her bridge was designed in the same manner as many large ships - excellent sight lines, an easy to interpret electronics layout, and quality Stidd seating make it a wonderful spot to enjoy for both the captain and guests. There is a day head aft to starboard with a large TV forward, a large chart table, a settee to port with office area aft, and a door out to the aft bridge deck. Aft of the enclosed pilothouse is a wonderful outdoor entertainment area with seating and a table to port, opposite a countertop with TV, sink, and cold storage below. Moving further aft brings you to the area that is used to store the tender when underway, along with the lift rafts. Access to the bridge is from either the internal staircase, or from the cockpit stairs.
The main level offers wide side decks with handholds where you would expect them. Anchor handling is forward with windlass and storage under the deck. As you move aft, there is additional storage within a few compartments in the coachroof. Her side decks are symmetrical in dimension, and allow safe and easy passage. There are two side doors to access the interior of the main dining area. Moving further aft there is additional storage just before the rear entertainment space. The aft entertainment space is separated into to different areas, allowing for guests to enjoy separate conversations without speaking over one another. There are three beautiful wooden deck chairs aft which overlook the stern and stern steps down to the oversized swim platform. Forward of those chairs is additional built-in storage, including an area to store some longer items. Moving further forward brings you to the exterior entertainment area with a full dining table and seating for 6-8. Forward to port is an electric grill, sink, TV, and lots of storage. Opposite to starboard is the aft ladder up to the bridge deck.
Stepping inside from the entertainment area leads you in to the warm and welcoming main salon. The salon is dressed in neutral colors and warm fabrics, making her a very inviting place to spend time with family and friends. Much of the interior has what many would refer to as a "Herreshoff style" interior, meaning that it is very light and airy, and has some wonderful varnished wood accents throughout. Also of note - you have a full 360 degree view to the outside from anywhere inside the main level of this vessel. Two large settees sit opposite each other, and there is custom wine storage below a couple of the settees and table. There is a bar forward on the starboard side as well. A large television can swivel out to enjoy while lounging in the salon, and there is a counter with storage below, along with dual refrigerators. Stairs to starboard lead up to the bridge.
Moving further forward brings you to the main dining area. A comfortable table with ample seating, lots of natural light, and the ability to open up the side doors to enjoy a nice breeze make this an ideal place to enjoy a meal in the company of good friends.
Forward of the dining area is the raised office/library area which has a desk, table, and upholstered chair. This is a great spot to curl up and enjoy a good book while still enjoying the beautiful natural light coming in through the large windows.
Sea Bold was designed to accommodate eight guests in four staterooms. They are all accessed off of a foyer which is down the steps to starboard in the salon. The Master & VIP staterooms each sleep two guests, and they are a mirror of one another, conjoined in the center. They each have a separate ensuite head with separate stall shower. Beautiful varnished wood make up the berths, drawers, cabinets, and storage spaces. The two additional staterooms are forward off of the foyer and allow sleeping for four guests. There is a shared head with separate stall shower off of the foyer for these two staterooms.
Access to the galley and crew cabins is to starboard of the raised office/library off of the dining area. As you step down into this area, there is a settee and table to starboard with stacked washer & dryer on the aft bulkhead. Galley extends out to port, and there is a large refrigerator aft. Further to port is the U-shaped galley, which has a full suite of appliances for the chef to enjoy. Ample storage is found throughout.
Forward of the galley, there are two crew cabins each with two bunks, and each with their own head. Both hanging and drawer storage may be found throughout.
Engine room is accessed via two deck hatches - one just aft of the salon door, and the other is from the aft deck near the varnished seats. Engine room is full height, which allows for easy maintenance, care, and repairs to all of the mechanical systems.
