Single Malt 1 - a new listing that is boathouse kept in Ladysmith, BC. The hull of Single Malt 1 is a modified displacement design and a very strong fiberglass hull but incorporating Kevlar & Divinycell into the mold. A bulbous bow was added to reduce the ship's resistance and dramatically lower the fuel consumption. A very wide beam and rolling chocks also added to minimize roll. The bow & stern thrusters with cameras everywhere, enhance maneuverability and is the reason-no need for crew. The wider beam also enhances the interior living space. She embodies distinctive architectural elements that are customized for the owners. The recent upgrade list is substantial. The major mechanical refit took place in 2021.
A quick walk-through starts with entering from the cockpit, you will be in the salon and immediately experience the beautiful Brazilian Jatoba, Cherry & Maple woods. The style and quality of finish with the various exotic hardwoods are noticed right away. The open living space and the large bright windows surround you. Comfortable seating of various styles, an open concept galley, the separate wet bar station and a cabinet hidden new flat screen TV, create a great gathering spot. An open pilothouse, only few steps, still keeps everyone engaged in the journey. The pilothouse has some very nice touch screen Navigation upgrades.
