This 2005 72’ Grand Banks, DAWN TO DUSK is an Aleutian, one of the largest and arguably most luxurious of all the Grand Banks models! DAWN TO DUSK is extensively equipped for long distance/live aboard cruising with three large and private en-suite staterooms, one of which converts into a practical open plan office. The separate crew quarters aft have also been used as a fourth en-suite stateroom when cruising without extra crew.
She has been well maintained and updated by her two knowledgeable owners to be a comfortable and reliable yacht for those looking for travel and adventure.

The oversized aft cockpit adds a unique dimension to DAWN TO DUSK, lending herself perfectly to staging all types of water sports from fishing and diving to canoeing and snorkeling. The custom stainless steel propane BBQ, countertop and sink is located within this cockpit. You can both prepare and enjoy your food with the warm sun or glittering stars as a backdrop.
The spacious and comfortable aft deck has a large built in seating area with storage underneath. There is a beautiful custom high gloss teak table with inlays and two-fold down leaves, plus four teak chairs. To port are stainless steel stairs with teak steps leading up to the flybridge, and aft side deck wing doors to port and starboard protecting the cockpit from wind and rough weather.
Entry to the salon is through an electrically operated custom Freeman entry door (Freeman door upgraded to including a new safety option in August 2013). The spacious open plan main salon is light filled from the many windows that runs the length of the house, through to the forward panoramic windows in the country style kitchen. The salon offers generous comfortable seating and numerous entertainment options.
Forward of the salon, the galley is surrounded with 270deg of windows. The galley is U-shaped and features all the appliances, storage and other amenities needed for preparing full course meals. To starboard of the galley is a long counter/bar with refrigeration underneath.
Forward of the galley is the lower helm station and to port is a large dinette with teak table and settees with storage below. To starboard is a side deck access door, providing ventilation and easy access to the side decks and bow areas. The helm station is fully equipped with updated electronics for safe and reliable navigation.
The accommodations are below the main deck with access via teak and holly steps to the companionway. The full beam master stateroom is amidships with king size centerline berth, many amenities, and en-suite head. The VIP stateroom has a queen size island berth and en-suite head. The third stateroom has been custom designed to easily convert from a double bed to an office. The crew cabin/extra berth is located forward of the engine room and accessed from the port side deck.
The flybridge is expansive and is accessed from either interior or exterior steps There are sofas to port and starboard with teak topped tables just aft of the helm station, two captains helm chairs and plenty of storage. Further aft is a stainless-steel davit, a 2018 Williams tender, life rafts and storage.
The lower cockpit with teak flooring is easily accessed via wide teak steps from either side of the upper cockpit/aft deck and via the transom door from the swim platform. It is a perfect area for entertaining, effortless boarding to and from the tender, blue water fishing and all the water sports you can imagine. This cockpit is an essential feature to truly get the most out of any yacht, both at anchor or underway. To starboard, is an oversized stainless steel propane BBQ grill that can be concealed and protected in a custom fiberglass cabinet when not in use. Large storage areas are located though watertight deck hatches.
Entering the spacious salon through the large aft electric operated sliding doors, you’re greeted by a light filled open and spacious room that runs the length of the house, through to the forward panoramic windows in the country style kitchen. On Dawn to Dusk the galley will see a lot of socializing in her open country style kitchen that’s surrounded with 270deg of windows. The galley is U-shaped and is fully equipped with appliances, other amenities, and plenty of storage. On the forward side, above, there are large storage cabinets that can be raised when not in use to visually expand the pilothouse area. On the starboard side are refrigerator and freezer drawers plus a large countertop/bar.
Forward of the galley is the lower helm station. To port is a large dinette with teak table and settees with storage below. To starboard is a side deck access door. This provides great ventilation and allows easy access to the side decks and bow areas. The electronics/navigation equipment was extensively updated by the current owner in 2017.
The full beam master stateroom is located amidships. This spacious stateroom features a walkaround king berth with storage below, two teak nightstands and reading lamps at the head of the bed, bureaus with numerous storage drawers, a built-in safe, escape hatch to the galley area, 26" Flatscreen TV with Satellite TV. There is also a custom vanity with flip-up top/mirror and a large walk-in cedar-lined closet with a large teak-framed mirror.
The en-suite bathroom is located aft of the stateroom and is equipped with Corian countertops and sink with Grohe fixtures, extensive cabinets and drawers, large mirrors, Headhunter fresh water electric head system, a large shower with bi-folding door and teak grate.
The Forward VIP Stateroom features a centerline island berth with storage drawers below and steps up to both port and starboard. This VIP cabin features reading lamps at the head of the bed, a 26" LCD Flatscreen TV, emergency hatch/vent with Ocean Air blind and screen. The cabin has plenty of drawer storage and hanging space in the cedar-lined closet.
The VIP head is accessed through the Forward VIP Stateroom or the lower deck teak companionway, allowing this bathroom to also be used as a day head when needed. It is similarly outfitted as the master head.
The third Stateroom has been custom designed to convert into an office when needed and has custom pocket teak doors for privacy. This cabin is to port between the Master and VIP Staterooms. The cabin features an oversized settee to port that converts into a double bed and includes storage drawers below. The desk is next to the settee, with ample storage cabinets above and storage drawers below the desk; the Corian desktop folds up to allow the settee to be converted to a double berth.
The ensuite head has Corian countertop and sink, Grohe single-lever faucet and large locker, cabinets, and drawers for plentiful storage.
Entrance to the crew quarters is through a side deck door on the portside or through the engine room.
The upper deck continues the family friendly environment that runs throughout Dawn to Dusk. “EZ2CY” glass encloses this area for added comfort under way while allowing great visibility.
The helm station has electronics and navigation equipment comparable to the lower helm. There are captains helm chairs and plenty of storage. Aft of the helm station are “L” shaped sofas with storage under to port and starboard both with teak tables. Aft is a stainless-steel davit to launch the large Williams tender. Two life rafts are also secured here as well as boarding ladders.
With the tender in the water and the aft enclosure opened up, this deck transforms into still another area to entertain and enjoy a sunset.

All lighting was converted to LED in 2019. Exterior deck lighting was also updated in 2012 to dual white and blue, switching alternative.
Engines and Generator received routine service 2/2021. The engine cooling systems were serviced in 2018. The generator received 3000-hour service in 2019.
