This is a turn key package with a freshly painted hull (2014); new bottom paint (2017); and new davit, dinghy, & water maker in 2013 &2014. She looks almost new both inside & out and has been lovingly maintained since new by her original owners. Provision this boat and she is ready for the Dry Tortugas and beyond!
The wide beam and heavy displacement are what give the 42 Post its great ride and spacious interior. If you are planning to run offshore or cruise long range these characteristics will be huge benefits for you. The beam and displacement determine the volume of interior space in a boat. The wide beam provides stability and the heavy displacement results in a better ride in rough seas. The 42 Post is a great sea boat and has lots of room in its very efficient layout.
