Walkthrough

The large covered aft deck is a spacious area and very comfortable for several deck chairs and room for a table.  At the transom there is a Freedom hydraulic dinghy lift so its just a push of a button to launch and retrieve a tender. She also is equipped with a Marquipt 800-lb. davit located to aft on the flybridge.  A staircase from the aft deck to the flybridge leads to an expansive area with new Sunbrella Bimini top on a double stainless steel frame. Forward on the bridge there is an expansive L-settee to starboard with a beautiful GB teak table. Her helm is center with a new Stidd helmseat and additional seating is to port.  All flybridge cushions and covers are new March 2021 and a new stainless steel propane grill was installed in 2021.

Entering the salon from the large covered aft deck either through the wide sliding aft deck doors or via forward port and starboard pilothouse doors at the helm. The bright and open salon boasts teak parquet floors and a richly-upholstered L-settee new March 2021 with teak yacht table with built in cup holders to starboard. To port is a straight settee. All seating features storage beneath and the interior has received new upholstery in Dec 2020. A custom corner entertainment system cabinet is at the aft bulkhead. Moving forward, her large well-equipped U-shaped galley is to starboard opposite the port dinette area. The galley offers an abundance of storage with features such as overhead lockers that drop down for plate and glass storage as well as in counter storage. In the past year the galley has seen a custom refit with new stainless steel upright refrigerator and freezer, new stainless steel ice maker and custom stainless steel stove and oven with overhead vent. When the new appliances were being installed a custom marine carpenter added a spice rack drawer, pots and pans drawer and beautifully done silverware and cutlery drawer.

The lower helm features a full suite of electronics (repeated on the flybridge) including a new Garmin radar and KVH SAT TV in 2021, large integrated chart locker, new Stidd helmseat and comfortable double guest seating to port and starboard with footrest. To port of this helm station is a companionway to access the three Staterooms below.

Down the companionway to port of the lower helm is access to the Staterooms and Heads. Below is the landing and aft is the private and voluminous full-beam Master Stateroom with queen island berth bordered by night tables with reading lights. There is a straight settee to starboard and built-in vanity and storage drawers to port. Large hanging lockers are positioned on both port and starboard. The en suite Master Head has a VacuFlush toilet and sink to starboard and a separate stall shower room to port allowing for simultaneous use of these areas while maintaining privacy.

The VIP Guest Stateroom forward features a V-berth with filler/insert so it can be one huge berth or separated easily into two singles. There are built-in drawers, night tables and reading lights. There is plenty of storage throughout with integrated cabinets, drawers and a custom cedar-lined hanging closet. Natural lighting is provided through portholes with an overhead hatch. Shades are installed on all portholes and hatch.

The second Guest Stateroom with athwartship oversized double berth to starboard also has a cedar-lined hanging locker and additional storage. The shared Guest Head is to port with stall shower.

Open the large hatch on her aft deck and you have a perfect storage space. On the port side are the full-size separate washer and dryer units. Moving forward is her engine room access. Once through the entry door, you have full stand-up headroom. Everything in this area is easy to get to and in impeccably nice condition.

There is an extensive spare parts kit onboard with almost anything anyone would want to have onboard for long-term cruising.

The Grand Banks 52 Europa combines the best of all cruising worlds: timeless design, technological innovation, expansive interior space. In other words, a yacht that's part long-term evolution and equal part innovation. In terms of beauty, burnished teak components continue to represent quality craftsmanship. In terms of functionally, the Grand Banks' reputation for consistently delivering dependable, stable boats is second to none. One of the most distinctive design features of the 52 Europa is the enclosed, forward pilothouse complete with a central captain's chair and a slide-away privacy bulkhead. Of course, there's also the trademark Grand Banks golden teak wheel. Opening doors on both sides of the pilothouse provide for ventilation and easy access forward. Guests are treated to the comfort of two-seater, forward facing settee. Thanks to its covered side and aft decks (and the expansive main salon that opens onto that protected aft deck), the 52 Europa is able to support several interior configurations. As always, the main salon is an inviting, easy-to-customize open space that makes liberal use of the traditional teak aesthetic. Below deck, there are several configuration options, all of which ultimately provide for three to four private staterooms. One option calls for one double and one twin guest cabin forward with the owner's cabin aft. Another option dedicates the entire aft area to a large master cabin. In this case, the shower and the head compartments are separate; a dressing table and a desk are also featured elements.
