The 2023 Sabre 48 Salon Express is a premier Downeast-style luxury yacht, known for its blend of traditional Maine craftsmanship and modern pod-drive performance. By 2023, this model had become one of Sabre's most successful designs, favored for its "galley-down" layout that maximizes social space in the main salon.

Notable Features

• Performance & Handling: Powered by Twin Volvo Penta D8-IPS700 (550hp) engines with only 119 hours. The joystick control and "Skyhook" dynamic positioning make it exceptionally easy to dock, even in challenging currents.

• Athwartship Master Stateroom: A unique design choice where the master bed is oriented side-to-side rather than bow-to-stern. This creates a more open feel and allows for a flat floor throughout the cabin.

• Social Layout: The salon features a large L-shaped settee and a high-low table that can convert into an extra berth. Large windows and a stainless-steel framed door connect the interior seamlessly to the cockpit.

• Utility Space: Beneath the salon sole is a large utility room; that has crew quarters with its own berth, a washer and dryer side side in utility room with drawers below and a built in Vitrifirigo freezer/fridge drawer.
