1997 Hatteras 70 Sport Deck Motor Yacht

Boarding the vessel is easy from either the port or starboard side, mid-ship at the pilothouse sliding doors. The two guest staterooms are forward as well as the large OFFICE.  The VIP stateroom has a queen size bed, cedar-lined closets, and en-suite head.  The GUEST stateroom has upper/lower single berths with an en-suite head.

The Galley and Salon are just aft of the pilothouse.  There is a U-shaped dinette with seating for six across from the Galley to Starboard.  The Galley has Quartz counter tops and is open to the roomy salon with large windows on both the Port and Starboard sides.  

The MASTER stateroom and Engine room is accessed in the Salon through a staircase on the Starboard side.  The MASTER all the way aft is full beam with a King size walk-around bed with walk-in closets, vanity, entertainment center, and his & her heads with a shared walk-in shower.  The Master head and shower have been completely updated.  The Engine room is just forward of the MASTER stateroom.

The FLYBRIDGE is accessed from the Pilothouse staircase.  The FLYBRIDGE features an extended hardtop that covers all the seating.  The huge island bar in the middle has a sink, refrigerator, and three comfortable bar stools.  There are two helm seats with full electronics.

As you enter the forward lower staterooms and Office from the pilothouse, at the foot of the steps and to Starboard is the laundry center with stacked washer and dryer units.  Access into the Generator room is through a hatch in the companionway.

The Forward deck is accessed by way of either pilothouse doors.  Wide and safe side decks offers ease of movement.  The deck has built-in seating facing forward and a large sun cushion on the cabin top.  The windlass is easy to use with the large foredeck.

The Flybridge access to the bridge is easy from the Pilothouse.  The bridge access overhead hatch and door can be closed and locked.  The bridge is very large and has been customized.  The helm offers two chairs and excellent 360 degree visibility.  Aft of the helm is a centered cabinet with a wet bar and refrigerator/freezer.  The aft section of the cabinet is rounded and there are three built-in stools.  The aft bridge deck offers seating for a crowd with a U-shaped seating area with storage under the seats.  Aft of the seating is storage for the Boston Whaler tender.  The bridge is protected by a hard-top that extends from the helm to the aft section of the deck with isinglass protection along the front and sides.

The Pilothouse has excellent seating with an elevated seat that creates a panoramic view and easy access to all gauges and instrumentation.  Under the seat are several drawers and cabinets for storage.  There are port and starboard Pilothouse doors leading to the bow deck and access to the Flybridge is along the Starboard side and offer wide step treads for easy maneuvering.  In the Pilothouse there are port side cabinets which reveal the AC electrical panel and generator controls.  Steps from the Pilothouse located on the starboard side offer access to the lower cabins and office.  The DC electrical panel is in a cabinet outboard as you walk down the cabin steps.

The Aft deck is up a few Starboard side steps from the swim platform.  The Aft deck is a great entertaining or relaxation spot.  The area is protected with stainless steel rails and stanchions.  Entry to the Main salon is through a door on the aft deck.  There are emergency controls hidden in a cabinet on the Port side.

The extended Swim platform gives ample room for seating or playing in the water.  There is a circular step along the starboard side leading up to the aft deck.  A swim ladder extends for easy boarding from the water.
