Valhalla Boatworks proudly introduces the V-55 Sport (SP) as a luxurious addition to the V Series, focusing on comfort, style, and top-notch accommodations in a high-performance cruising yacht. Propelled by four Mercury 600-hp outboards, the V-55 SP glides effortlessly on the innovative Michael Peters Yacht Design Stepped-V Ventilated Tunnel hull, providing a swift, steady, and efficient cruising experience.
Stepping onto the boarding platforms located outboard of the engines, you are welcomed by a pair of classy glass doors that seamlessly lead into the luxurious cockpit of the V-55 SP. Designed with relaxation and outdoor entertainment in mind, the spacious cockpit features a large dining area complete with two cozy bench seats and a chic table. Adjacent to the dining area, an L-shaped summer kitchen beckons, strategically placed forward and to starboard for convenient access.
A standout feature of the V-55 SP is its powered fold-down balconies on each side, encompassing the entire aft sections of the hull sides. These innovative balconies not only elevate the yacht’s design but also offer expansive deck space and easy water access. Described by Viking Design Manager David Wilson as a game-changer, they provide an additional 25 square feet of deck space on each platform.
Safety and style are seamlessly integrated into the design of the V-55 Sport, with a low-profile bow rail adding a touch of elegance while ensuring a secure environment. The asymmetrical side-deck design maximizes interior volume, allowing ample space for guests to move around comfortably. A raised starboard side deck, accessed via three steps, optimizes cabin space without compromising access to the bow area, where a three-person sunpad and a wraparound lounge with a table invite relaxation and enjoyment.
The sleek profile of the Valhalla 55 Sport is further enhanced by its swept-back, four-sided fiberglass enclosure, featuring tinted windows and a hardtop with a sunroof that extends aft to cover the summer kitchen. To provide shade and protection from the elements, a telescoping powered shade, discreetly hidden in the hardtop, can be effortlessly deployed. Graceful support arches extend outboard to the coamings, adding a touch of refinement to the yacht’s overall design.
