Form meets function in the new Princess Yachts V65, designed to be the perfect yacht for both cruising and entertaining. She combines power and agility with luxury and comfort that offers everyone on board the ultimate boating experience.
From her spacious sunbeds and lounge seats on her bow to the additional seating and sunbeds aft of her well-appointed galley, the Princess V65 motor yacht is all about comfort and ease. Guests and family are welcome to gather in the light-filled midships section, where a U-shaped sofa and coffee table surround the helm, and an L-shaped banquette and table provide cozy seating in the galley.
The generous galley finished in oak and stainless steel, sports a ceramic four-burner gas stove, twin sinks, dishwasher, and full-size refrigerator/freezer along with plenty of storage. Below, the aft sunbed is a garage with an electro-hydraulic door and a tender launch system with an electric winch. The bathing platform can be raised and lowered via an electro-hydraulic mechanism, and a foldaway swimming ladder and hot-and-cold shower are available to swimmers.
The main stateroom features a large double bed with drawer storage, wardrobes with both hanging and drawer storage, a sofa and dressing table, a 40-inch LED TV/DVD/Blu-ray system, and a spacious en-suite bath. The forward stateroom has an overhead deck hatch to let in even more light and its en-suite bathroom as well. Two more cabins feature single berths, and an optional crew cabin can be located aft of the engine room. All cabins and baths have operable portholes for fresh air, and extra-large windows provide plenty of natural light.
The Princess V65 equipped with a bow thruster and five-blade propellers in nickel/aluminum/bronze and is power-assisted electro-hydraulic steering assures the pilot of deft maneuvering in any seas. Engine and gear shift controls are electronic, and an extractor fan with electronic time delay keeps the engine room cool and humming smoothly. Twin interconnected fuel tanks hold more than a thousand gallons, and high-capacity duplex fuel filters and water traps keep fuel contaminant and water-free.
The V65’s electrical system consists of four heavy-duty batteries to start the engine and four heavy-duty auxiliary batteries. An 80-amp charger works via an automatic switch charging system. Circuit breakers on all circuits make it easy to see when parts of the system are overloaded. A 13.5-kilowatt diesel generator is housed in its sound shield and has a water-cooled silenced exhaust for virtually noiseless operation.
