VIKING YACHTS 44 OPEN HITS THE WATER
The newest family member of the fleet, the Viking Yachts 44 Open hits the water where she belongs. As usual, all expectations have been exceeded by this new highly anticipated 44-foot masterpiece. It is sure to be a show stopper this fall with her beautiful lines, molded in swept-back windshield and rugged built raked hull with straight shaft propulsion. Over the next couple of weeks, it will be accompanied by custom Release helm and companion chair at the bridge. A generous electronics display dash provides perfect visibility and is within easy reach at all times. Additionally, large wrap around bench seating with storage compartments below provide abundant space for gear and passengers to relax underway.
Furthermore, the Viking 44 is outfitted with sub-zero refrigerated drawers and beautiful Corian counter surfaces. The expansive galley area located adjacent to the roomy salon entertainment area offers uncompromised functionality for meal prep. With a solid cooktop, microwave convection oven and room for all provisions in the ample high gloss finish teak cabinetry Viking is known for.
As soon as you go below, it’s apparent that you’re in a Viking engine room. As usual, it has clean painted surfaces and an easy-to-move around layout. Housing state of the art 800 HP inline six common rail Man engines with straight shaft propulsion is mounted on heavy duty stringers and capped by overlapping full-length steel mounting plates.
She’s just a few weeks away from being complete and is scheduled for debut at the annual Viking VIP event in Atlantic City, NJ. This event is held on September 11th – 13th.
