Since 1964, Viking Yachts has been committed to building a better boat every day. As well as being a leader in the industry. With their two facilities in New Jersey they are able to build models spanning from 37 feet to 93 feet. Plus, provide customers with unprecedented service at their Viking Yachts Service Center in Rivera Beach, Florida. Recently, Viking has announced that they will be able to provide more services to more people, in the near future. It has been announced that Viking will be expanding their Service Center, naming it Riviera Beach Marine Center. The goal of this expansion is to have a center that can provide multiple services to all vessel types. Ranging from center consoles and sportfishers to cruising and mega yachts.
The plan for this expansion is to create a campus with multi-floor buildings that can house qualified vendors with high bay work bays, office space, retail and showrooms, and extended stay apartments. Adding value to its lessees, Riveria Beach Marine Center will provide them a direct conduit of work. From both the Viking and Rybovich service yards. In summary, this will provide service customers with multiple vendors in one place to take care of their service needs.
The expansion will be located adjacent, or in the near proximity to the existing Viking Yacht Service Center. Which is located on Avenue C off Broadway. One of the hopes of this new center is to generate more foot traffic. Thus helping drive the overall economic growth of the area.
With more than 700 marine focused businesses in Palm Beach County, the Rivera Beach Service center is a welcomed addition. The Rivera Beach Marine Center is scheduled for completion in January 2019.
