VIKING 93 MOTOR YACHT IS MAKING ITS WAY DOWN THE PRODUCTION LINE
Viking 93 Motor Yacht
Breaking the ground in motor yacht styling and delivering outward-bound functionality, Viking Yachts is in the process of building their largest yacht to date-the Viking 93 Motor Yacht. This magnificent yacht is scheduled to be launched late summer. Just in time for a private unveiling at the dealer meeting in September. Soon to follow she will make her world debut at the 2017 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. With her debut quickly approaching, she is making her way down the production line.
Deck House Installation
Recently, the Viking 93 Motor Yacht, reached a significant milestone in the building process. Her deckhouse was installed, which gives the yacht its distinctive appearance.
The upper-level deck serves as the enclosed bridge, which will be accessed from the salon and lower after deck. The enclosed bridge syndicates the sumptuous helm and upper salon areas. The spacious afterdeck will be dedicated to enjoying the outdoors with lounges, a wet bar, electric grill, an alfresco dining table, and casual seating.
Attention to Detail
Furthermore, to Viking every detail of the yacht is important. Even the ones you cannot see. Even though it will not be seen, Viking paints the internal supports and wire chases on the underside of the deck will Awlgrip. Then they are insulated and covered with fiberglass panels that are fitted with recessed light fixtures.
Salon Development
Moreover, even at this early stage, you can tell that the salon is going to be spacious. In the coming weeks, the salon will be outfitted with walnut joinery. Creating an exquisite atmosphere. With large windows throughout the salon, it will feel open and airy with lots of natural light. It will also provide stunning panoramic views of the exotic locations you chose to cruise.
The above image provides an excellent look at the rugged deck to hull joint that is through-bolted every three or four inches before it is capped with Awlgrip-painted vinyl rub rail and stainless-steel bang strip. Also, in the photo, you can see that keeping with the attention to detail, areas of the yacht are polished and protected multiple times.
The Foredeck
In addition, the foredeck of the Viking 93 Motor Yacht will provide owners and guests an expansive lounging area to soak in the sun. Keeping with practicality, Viking has also included stowage below for the massive sun pads. Flanked by more compartments to port and starboard for fenders and other gear. Forward of the sun pads is a skylight that illuminates the stateroom below.
