Viking 64 Convertible Build Process Update

The 64 convertible is the newest member of the Viking fleet, announced earlier this summer. This four-stateroom, three-head fishing battlewagon is poised to become another best-in-class top performer on the tournament circuit and the new standard in luxury, accommodations, and comfort. In a two-part video series, Viking VP of Design and Engineering, Lonni Rutt, takes us into the methodology and execution of how they build the 64C.

Materials & Methods

The Viking 64 build process starts with a fresh, clean slate, as does every new project. Each specific material chosen supports the requirements of each product and different parts throughout the build process; everything from customized fiberglass materials, carbon fiber usage to resin infusion and hand lamination. Viking engineering, technical knowledge, and expertise are behind every material and method used to build the new Viking 64. View the video below.
