Captain Chris Galati also leads the fishing side of the business here at Galati Yacht Sales (among other programs), known as Team Galati Charters, and participates in many renowned tournaments with his respected team. His years of experience captaining and his relentless passion and drive for angling have landed him a successful career in the blue-water arena, capturing world titles and IGFA records. Just last year, Team Galati, the 70 Viking — captained by Chris Galati — was fishing 74 miles west of Tampa when they caught an IGFA line class world record Black Grouper, weighing 107 pounds.
