The All-New 54 Viking Yacht Models | 54ST, 54O, 54SC

Viking Yachts Expanded Its 54 Series Lineup | 54ST, 54O, 54SC

Leading sportfishing yacht manufacturer Viking Yachts expanded its renowned 54 series lineup with three exceptional models — the 54 Open (O), 54 Sport Coupe (SC), and 54 Sport Tower (ST). These models joined the award-winning 54 Convertible, further solidifying Viking’s dominance in the mid-size sportfishing yacht market.

Each new model shares the same advanced hull design as the 54 Convertible, which proved itself a blue-water performer after its debut at the 2020 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, where it earned the Best of Show Award. With four distinct 54-foot yachts, Viking made it easier than ever for owners to find their perfect fit for both fishing and cruising adventures.

54 Viking | Model Features

The Viking 54 Open features an aggressive entry, raked stem, and one-piece wraparound windshield that give it a commanding presence on the water. Outfitted with a Palm Beach Towers (PBT) hardtop and optional tuna tower, it delivers both performance and style.

The 54 Sport Tower is designed with a three-sided fiberglass deckhouse (with an optional solid aft bulkhead) and a PBT tuna tower, while the 54 Sport Coupe offers a similar layout and can be configured without a tower for a sleeker, express look. Likewise, the 54 Open can be delivered without a tuna tower for owners who prefer a streamlined, luxurious Viking express yacht.

54 Viking | Model Layouts

Viking’s $1 million 5-axis CNC router allows the shipyard to precisely craft cockpit, mezzanine, command deck, windshield, and foredeck assemblies unique to the Viking express yacht lineup. All three 54 models share efficient cockpit and command deck layouts, maximizing space for fishing, diving, cruising, and entertaining.

The 154-square-foot cockpit includes twin mezzanine seating with cooler storage, in-deck fish and storage boxes, drink coolers, a transom livewell, and a transom door with a liftgate — all hallmarks of Viking’s sportfishing design expertise.

Command Deck

The command deck offers instant access to the cockpit. Its centerline helm sits on a raised platform for excellent visibility and pairs with double port and single starboard companion seating. Aft of the helm, Viking combines comfort and functionality with twin lounges, a dinette, refrigeration, and ample tackle and gear storage — ensuring every voyage is both practical and enjoyable.

Below deck, the 17 ft. 8 in. beam provides generous interior volume and a choice of two- or three-stateroom layouts. The forward master stateroom is equipped with a queen berth, abundant storage behind walnut cabinetry, and a private head. Additional portside staterooms include upper and lower berths. In the two-stateroom layout, the guest head offers private access, while in the three-stateroom plan, the head is shared between guest cabins.

Well-Appointed Galley

Midship on the starboard side sits a fully equipped galley that includes a complete appliance package, walnut cabinetry, engineered stone countertops, and under-counter refrigeration and freezer units. Across from the galley, the two-stateroom version features an L-shaped lounge and table, while the three-stateroom layout provides booth seating. Other highlights include a 43” HD TV, Amtico flooring throughout the salon and galley, and plush carpeting in all staterooms.

Engine Packages

Standard propulsion comes from twin MAN V12 1400CRM (1400 MHP) engines, while Hull No. 1 — a 54 Sport Tower — is powered by optional MAN V12 1550CRM (1550 MHP) engines for increased speed and performance.
