Team Galati Wins the 2023 Signature Triple Crown

2023 Los Sueños Signature Triple Crown ChampionsThe dream team has done it again — congratulations to TEAM GALATI, the champions of the tenth annual Los Sueños Signature Triple Crown Series! TEAM GALATI fished off the world-acclaimed Viking 64 Demo for the tournament series, which also won the PELAGIC Rockstar Offshore Tournament® in February.

The proven tournament winner, 64 Viking Yacht, won the daily, Leg 3, and the overall championship, landing them in the winner’s circle for the 2023 season. TEAM GALATI has taken home the crown three out of the last four years, having been named back-to-back champions of the Signature Triple Crown in 2020 and 2021. The dream team consists of core members Carmine Galati, Pat Healey, captain Tony Carrizosa, Steve Lassley, Eric & Drew McDowell, Dan Pettit, Arturo Moreno, and Fernando Peralta Alvarez. Thomas “Smalls” Garmany also came on board at the start of the 2022 season and has fished the Triple Crown Series and the Rockstar tournament with the team both years.

TEAM GALATI Wins Leg 3 of the Signature Triple CrownThroughout the series, TEAM GALATI has remained a strong contender taking second place for leg one and top 8 for leg two. However, their first-place win for leg three this past weekend was the push they needed to slide into the first-place position for the Signature Triple Crown Series. With 6500 points awarded for Leg 3, TEAM GALATI came out on top with 15200 points for the series, taking first place overall and the prestigious Triple Crown championship title. Team UNO MAS came in second overall, followed by Team MISS AC for the Signature Triple Crown, and first place for the Ladies Only tournament was team UNO MAS. Congratulations to all of the winners!

About the Signature Triple Crown Series

The Los Sueños Signature Triple Crown Series is a world-renowned sportfishing tournament held annually in Costa Rica. It is a three-leg competition that takes place over three different weekends in January, February, and March, with each leg lasting three days.
