The Canadian-built Excellence is a tri-deck motor yacht launched at Richmond Yachts in 2010. The all-GRP yacht is packed with guest pleasing features that are tied together with a functional layout and brought to life through expert craftsmanship. The American studio, Setzer Design is behind Excellence’s exterior design.
Furthermore, up to 10 guests are accommodated over four lower deck guest cabins and a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck. An additional VIP stateroom is located on the upper deck aft of the wheelhouse. Which could also be used as the perfect Captain’s cabin during charter-heavy periods that requires a larger crew.
Excellence has a finish of rich interior by the Pavlik Design Team. Guests are made to feel right at home through the use of extensive wood paneling. Along with comfortable leather pieces in a classical yet functional environment. In addition, entertaining onboard is made simple with various separate social areas and family-sized dining areas across the main saloon and skylounge.
The skylounge is fitted with a lounge area facing a large screen TV, games table and a four-seating bar area.
Why do we think this is such a great deal?
Having been meticulously maintained by her professional crew and passionate owner, Excellence is in as a good shape today as she was six years ago. With many yachts in this size range focussed on performance alone, Excellence, in true megayacht style, offers her guests the best in terms of comfort and space.
Exterior areas follow the same lifestyle setup as on the inside. With deck spaces that have been divided into smaller outdoor lounges or sunbathing spots in order to make the most of the available space. The upper aft deck is perfectly suited for grand family barbeques around a 10-seating table with arguably the best view anywhere onboard.
The sundeck too is particularly spacious despite featuring a forward-facing Jacuzzi, central breakfast and bar areas and sunbathing and workout space aft. The aft area can be cleared and turned into a touch-and-go helipad at a moment’s notice.
Excellence reaches a top speed of 16 knots thanks to her twin MTU 16V2000 M91 engines. She also carries an 18’ Novurania tender and two Kawasaki STX 15 waverunners.
Where is she right now?
Excellence is currently cruising the Caribbean Sea.
