Viking Yachts 58 Convertible Makes Public Debut
Viking Yachts 58 Convertible makes its public debut at the 2018 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Galati Yacht Sales is pleased to announce that by the end of the year, we will have our in-stock 58C. Our in-stock 58 was outfitted using input from our team of captains and fishing clients.
The Viking 58C had previously been a very popular sportfish convertible in the nine years between 1991 and 2000. Additionally, Viking Yachts sold 110 58 Convertibles during that time frame.

Our excitement extends to announce MTU/JT will have a new Viking 58. Powered by a pair of the new MTU 10V2000 M96L’ s. Rated at 1622 MHP each. Available for demo at the 2018 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. MTU-hosted demos will run every two hours, every day of the show.
Additionally, this is a great opportunity for interested customers to sea trial the new 58’ as well as the new MTU 10V2000 M96L. The boat will be equipped with the MTU joystick system. Plus, MTU engineers will be onboard to demonstrate the system or answer any questions. The 10V2000 M96L has proven to be a fantastic power plant for vessels between 50 and 65 foot. The engine is quiet and economical. It does not smoke and has great acceleration. Sharing similar characteristics as the proven 12V2000 and 16V2000 M96L’s.
Furthermore, it is built for improved acceleration and fuel efficiency, the new1 0V 2000 M96L engine is ideal for today’s class of sportfishing yachts. On the bridge, you’ll see Blue Vision New Generation. MTU’s latest control and monitoring system, in action. The cutting-edge system features standard color displays, integrated start-stop control, and standard shipyard interface.
