Following the successful launch of the X95 Princess Yacht, comes a new addition to the family— the all-new X80. Princess Yachts announced that the second member of the X Class Superfly range is due to take to the water in 2021.
Over the last couple of years, Princess Yachts has worked continuously to envelop all of the unique features of the X95 into a more compact package; and the X80 is just that. The second addition to the X class range holds to the X95 concept defined by large, adaptable spaces offering flexible accommodations; yet, rewriting the rules of yacht design by integrating the concept of a ‘super flybridge’ featuring extensive outdoor space, offering the owner & guests a real alfresco living opportunity.
Princess Yachts’ established partner, Olesinski, has again collaborated with Italian design heavyweights Pininfarina, to create the ultimate in innovative yacht design. Following the sophisticated sculpted surfaces and long flowing lines of the X95, the X80 represents a striking design concept whilst at the same time maintaining the well respected and internationally recognized classic Princess designs.
Her ‘S’ shaped canopy flows into the flybridge deck to balance the visual weight and disguise the volume of the expansive sky lounge. The X80 brings the outside in through the maximization of glazing which flows along the entire length of the main deck covering the saloon, galley, and forward dining area. The use of light and advanced design features continues below deck where accommodations across four cabins house up to eight guests. Luxurious cabins include a full-beam master stateroom located amidships, a forward guest stateroom, a double guest to starboard, and a twin cabin to port. Located aft of the main accommodation is the crew quarters, which can accommodate three crew with the standard layout. Fitted with twin MAN V12 1900s, the X80 will reach speeds up to 30 knots.
