Introducing the Princess V50 – U.S Debut at the 2022 Palm Beach Boat Show
British yacht manufacturer, Princess Yachts, has announced their latest model update within the V Series, the all-new Princess V50 and V50 Open. The launch of the new V50 will replace the popular outgoing model in the series, bringing a revitalized design, immaculate control features, and advanced technology to the mid-size motor yacht. With a sea trial already under her belt, it is safe to say that the Princess V50 delivers to the utmost degree of performance while delivering a smooth, stable, and dependable ride.
Flexibility is Key – V50 Princess
Designed by the Princess Design Studio in collaboration with naval architects Olesinski, and Italian design house, Pininfarina, the Princess V50 has been created using all-new hull, deck, and canopy molds to redefine one of the core models in the V class range. Flexibility is key on the V50, starting with the option of an enclosed or open main deck layout. The reimagined cockpit provides exceptional outdoor living space to create unforgettable experiences with family and friends; meanwhile, the extended canopy offers a shaded area to escape the heat of the sun without altering the yacht’s elegant composure and performance.
Below deck, natural light fills the open galley, which opens up to a social gathering space or converts to a double berth. Two cabins accommodate up to four people in a full-beam master suite and forward VIP. The forward en-suite has additional access to the salon for use as a day head if needed.
Compact and highly efficient, twin Volvo Penta IPS600 or IPS650 engines are at the heart of the new deep-V hull and deliver maximum speeds of over 30 knots. Compared to the previous model, the V50 Princess highlights an extended cruising range through increased fuel capacity to accommodate an owner’s outdoor lifestyle, allowing the explorers at heart to travel further distances.
