Being founded 15 years ago with more than 300 staff and contractors employed, Maritimo Yachts is an amazingly adaptive, innovative and unique boat building company; one that has been a true Australian corporate success. Late last year, the Australian boatbuilder announced its latest design and manufacturing strategy along with the launch of three new M-series flybridge motoryachts within the company’s newest division— ‘Maritimo One’.
What is ‘Maritimo One’?
Having recently completed a 13 million dollar expansion at the thier Gold Coast manufacturing facility, ‘Maritimo One’ (standing for one of a kind) is a section of the factory that is fully dedicated to taking on the research & development, and manufacturing of fully custom yachts. The new division will allow customers to make significant custom changes to their base model vessels. Today, their product line consists of 11 models across its M-Series Flybridge Motor Yacht, X-Series Sport Coupe, and S-Series Sedan Motor Yacht ranges.
This new division was created to uphold the brands’ identity and reputation for allowing customers to design a vessel that specifically meets their needs. “Maritimo has been internationally renowned for the level in which it enables client customization, where other brands have set limitations,” said company lead designer, Tom Barry-Cotter. Their one-on-one design process and time with the customer provides a personalized service that results in customers getting a yacht that is one unlike any other.
