Los Cabos Billfish Tournament Recap
Yesterday we wrapped up a great tournament in Cabo San Lucas at the Los Cabos Billfish Tournament. Galati Yacht Sales and Viking Yachts sponsor this tournament and we had several of our Cabo-based client’s yachts fishing the tournament. Other Galati Yachts Sales sportfish owners came to Cabo for this incredible tournament series which includes two additional tournaments following this one with the world famous Bisbee’s tournaments. The Bisbee’s Los Cabos Offshore and Bisbee’s Black and Blue continue on through the weekend and next week.
During the three days of fishing of the Los Cabos Billfish Tournament there were 52 teams battling it out offshore. There were 150 billfish caught in and also some Wahoo and Tuna for the other divisions. We’d would like to congratulate our friends and customers on their successes. 70 Viking “Mjolnir” made it to the stage in the Wahoo division. Also, the 80 Weaver “El Suertudo” placed second in the Billfish Release division Jackpot. Family run “Sea Angel” continued their consistency with first place release and “Chupacabra” tipped the scales with the first place 499 lb black marlin.
