Marsh Harbour, Bahamas Princess Owners Holiday Event

Princess Yachts America hosted, yet again, a magnificent boating experience in paradise, the 2022 Princess Spring Owners Holiday. These events allow fellow boaters from all over to get together over a common interest and enjoy each other’s company, their Princess yacht, and fabulous destinations like the Abaco Islands. A big thank you to our customers who joined Team Galati on this Princess Experience of a lifetime! The 2022 Princess Summer Owners Holiday is scheduled for July 28-31.

Team Galati arrived in the Bahamas in beautiful Marsh Harbour on Wednesday, April 20th for the 2022 Princess Owners event and immediately took to the docks to say hello to all of our customers. With everyone just arriving that day or the day prior, the families were settling in and getting a lay of the land. The Galati family delivered goody bags to each boat, getting to know new faces and introducing themselves.

With Wednesday night and Thursday night having no set activities, it was the perfect time to explore on your own time and socialize with all of the Princess Owners on the docks. Thursday night was the first event, a welcome reception aboard your Princess Yacht and a firework show over the Sea of Abaco. Princess Yachts delivered an array of Bahamian appetizers and a bottle of Champagne to each boat to enjoy while watching the firework show. All of the guests sat on their Flybridges or aft dining areas taking in the stunning view. The show was of course followed by all of the yachts blowing their horns in appreciation.

Beach Day – Bahamas Princess Owners Holiday

Friday was the guest-favorite Private Island Beach Day, with shuttle boats bringing over the guests group by group. The owners were met with an extensive cookout, beach games, chairs, and umbrellas, all set up ready to enjoy! With the weather being overcast and slightly chilly the previous days, the sun came out just in time for the beach day, lighting up the gorgeous crystal blue water! There were SeaBobs to explore underwater, corn hole competitions, and the annual Egg Toss tournament to top off the day. Galati customers aboard “Defiance” took home the gold!

Weekend Festivities – Princess Owners Event

Friday night was the Team Galati Dinner at Colors back in Marsh Harbour. All Galati Customers gathered for a stunning sunset and a wonderful dinner together, reflecting on the fun beach day and the fun adventures ahead. This dinner also allowed more time to get to know one another and learn more about each boating group.

Saturday morning began with a breakfast buffet at the marina, followed by a “Painting The Abacos” class with Bahamian artist Anthony “Big Mo” Morley. Everyone enjoyed refreshments while painting an Abaco horizon and palm trees!

The day ended with a “Docktail Competition,” where each boat was encouraged to partake in concocting a cocktail that would be judged by local celebrity judges. The participants were given points for drink name, creativity, presentation, and taste. Once again, Team Defiance took the win for the best drink! Way to go, team!

Sunday was the perfect day to explore. Sunny skies and calm winds allowed guests to hit different islands like Hopetown, Man-O-War Cay, or Great Guana Cay for a good time at Nippers with new friends!

Reception & Awards Ceremony for Princess Owners

Sunday night concluded the incredible trip with a reception and awards ceremony for the Princess Owners. A live band, exquisite buffet, awards, and amazing new friends made for a great way to top off such a fun trip. The evening concluded with the traditional Bahamian Junkanoo band making their way through the crowds!
