The Princess Yachts 62, which will be launched at the 2017 Southampton Boat Show and Cannes Yachting Festival, will make its North America debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in November.
The all-new Princess 62 flybridge inspires relaxation with a large dining area, a sun pad aft and a unique circular forward seating area that can be converted into an additional sun pad. The sleek exterior styling of this new model conceals a voluminous interior. Below deck, six guests enjoy three beautifully appointed en-suite cabins. With an additional option of a further twin cabin aft for occasional guests or crew.
The traditional Princess interior design style reinvents itself with an innovative fresh and light architectural look and feel. All while maintaining the traditional qualities of craftsmanship and refinement. An approach shaped around precise layered geometry and elegant folded surfaces. This defines the interior form to create a truly tranquil environment with meticulous attention to detail.
The Princess 62 hull is based on the Olesinski low deadrise hull form. Optimized for greater lift and less drag. Additionally leading to lower planing speeds and greater efficiency. Engine variants from Volvo and Caterpillar will offer power outputs between 900-1000mhp producing estimated maximum speeds of 30-32.5 knots.
