Viking 64 Demo
Team Galati had the privilege of building out the 64 Viking Demo with all the latest and best technologies and options to fish the Signature Triple Crown events in Costa Rica. When Team Fish Tank received an invitation to the Rockstar tournament — Central America’s largest and richest Sportfishing tournament — but had no boat since their Viking is currently in production and their custom Hatteras sold, Team Galati stepped in and provided the 64 Viking demo.
About the Rockstar Offshore Tournament
Numerous angling teams worldwide travel to Quepos, Costa Rica, every year to compete for the prestigious title of Tournament Grand Champion and serious cash at the Rockstar tournament. The teams have two days of fishing for target species: sailfish, marlin, tuna, and dorado. Working together, Team Galati and Team Fish Tank, comprised of — Carmine and Jane Galati, Team Galati Captain Tony Carrizosa, Drew McDowell, mate Arturo Munoz, mate Fernando Peralta, Dylan Berrocal, Thomas Garmany, Laura and Chris Jeesen, Fish Tank’s Captain Ben Horning, mate Joe West, and mate Eric Martinez — came out on top with 4200 points to take the first place prize and champion trophy.

Viking 64 Demo For Sale
For one lucky owner, this proven tournament contender is available for sale in April and will deliver as a new boat with new system and engine warranties. Introduced in 2021, the 64 Viking Sportfish was driven by Viking’s mantra of ‘building a better boat every day.’ She highlights the prominent Viking profile with unbroken S-shaped sheer flows from bow to stern and a swept-back black-masked windshield. Using CFD software, the running surface on the 64C is enhanced for ultimate performance. Viking’s in-house CFD allows them to run endless virtual sea trials to fine-tune the shape of the hull bottom for increased efficiency.

Her 180-square-foot cockpit was designed and constructed as the result of thousands of hours logged on the water and tournament circuit feedback. Enhanced Features of the 64 Viking
The observation mezzanine provides a space to cool down and stay dry, thanks to the flybridge overhang. The main helm area on the flybridge of the 64 sportfish has evolved and is situated closer and positioned at a new angle so Captains can easily access the electronic screens and flat-panel switches on the dash. The helm pod is also smaller, providing better accessibility.
Accomodations of the 64C Demo
The four-stateroom, three-head fishing yacht sets a new standard for luxury and comfort as the interior accommodations are spacious, bright, and open with highlights that include horizontal walnut finishes. Weary anglers and guests can find comfort in the starboard mid-ship master stateroom, a forward queen VIP, a portside cabin with two single berths side by side, and a stateroom with over under berths.
