Making its world premiere at the 2021 Fort Lauderdale show, the 64 Viking has since positioned itself as the best-in-class battlewagon on the tournament circuit and the new standard for mid-class luxury sportfishers. Fishing Features of the 64 Viking

As you can see on the walk-through video with sales professional Nick Galati, the stunning exterior on this particular Viking 64 displays the all-new Nardo Grey hull color, which matches perfectly with the teak accents throughout the streamlined 180 sqft cockpit. Freedom of movement, storage, and ease of accessibility is the focus in the business end of the 64’ sportfish yacht, with key features that include a large transom live well and single hatch Seakeeper cover (great for accessibility and preventing water from entering the lazarette). As far as fishability goes: flush rod holders, fresh and raw-water wash-down systems, transom fish box with live well, rounded coamings with indirect rope lighting below, side lockers for tag stick and gaff storage, port and starboard in-deck insulated fish and stowage boxes and optional in-deck live well all come standard on the 64 Viking.

Unmatched Performance

With the adoption of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software, the 64 has an optimized running surface to achieve the best performance possible. Viking’s in-house CFD allows the team to run several virtual sea trials to fine-tune the shape of the hull bottom for increased efficiency. With the MTU 12V M96X engines powering the sportfisher, her cruise speeds reach the mid to upper 30s, with top speeds of over 42 knots.

Greater Accessibility – Viking 64

Up on the Flybridge, newer advancements compared to previous models have been made to the main helm area, bringing it closer and positioning it at a new angle so the captain can easily access the electronic screens and flat-panel switches on the dash. The helm pod is also smaller, which gives the captain greater accessibility. The 64 Viking has the typical three-helm chair layout, although one key difference is the large forward-facing lounge chair with serene views and great comfortability while underway. It also features considerable refrigeration storage space underneath.

Accommodations

Heading back to the main deck, the open layout salon displays eye-catching horizontal grain walnut finishes and valences above the windows. Bask in relaxation with an L-shaped seating lounge to starboard, a two-person bar set up off the galley, and raised dinette to port with storage underneath. With the push of a button, the electric-powered salon doors lead to the mezzanine and cockpit, where you are back in all the action.

Below deck, is a four-stateroom, three-head layout with an en-suite master midship, a cabin with two single berths side by side, a cabin with over under berths, and forward queen VIP or optional crossover VIP.
