The 58 Convertible is the culmination of nearly 55 years of Viking design, engineering, and manufacturing— and the best the industry has to offer in sportfishing boat innovation. Built on the success of the first generation 58 convertible and the iconic 55 Viking, the 2nd generation 58 Viking offers an enhanced ride and additional interior volume. The underbody hull form allows the 58 C, despite its greater size, to achieve the same top speed as the 55 C. Viking’s hull design carries aft chines at full width for added efficiencies and reduced draft, allowing the 58 Convertible to compete with all boats in the 60-plus-foot range.
Greater Interior Space
Not only was the performance of the 58 C enhanced, so was the interior space— particularly the salon and cockpit. Her cockpit is 14 square feet larger than the 55 C’s, and the largest in its class; measured at 165 square feet. Furthermore, the cockpit provides a full-featured mezzanine with a shaded seating area and beautifully upholstered cushions; freezer, cooler, bait and tackle storage; and engine access.
Convenient Streamlined Layout
Headed indoors, the galley arrangement on the 58 C is on the port side, while the dinette is starboard. This layout provides a streamlined layout that is convenient and accommodating. High-gloss teak or walnut finishes are offered for the 58 C’s interior. Three staterooms and two heads provide maximum comfort a functionality while on the tournament circuit or cruising the waterways. As you would expect from Viking, the master suite is spacious and elegant with a queen walk-around bed, HD TV mounted, plenty of storage, end tables, and his and her maple-lined hanging lockers. The forward guest stateroom comes with either a single walk around queen or crossover berths. In the starboard stateroom, you have side-by-side bunks and a maple-lined hanging locker with drawer storage underneath.
