About the Viking 48 Open
Recently introduced by Viking Yachts, the 48 Open combines the best of an express fisherman and cruiser all in the Viking tradition. The Viking 48 is a model within a model. It is available as the 48 Open, the 48 Sport Tower and the 48 Sport Coupe as well as 48 convertible.
With its sleek sheer line, raked stem and razor sharp entry the Viking 48 Open melds perfectly with the one-piece wrap-around fiberglass windshield. Producing the epitome of an athletic and racy express cruiser. She has plush comfort and entertaining amenities, and the 124 square-foot cockpit is ideal for fishing and water activities. Included is a transom fish box, drink and bait coolers, recessed fish and stowage wells, and a split observation mezzanine. The two stateroom accommodations include a queen-size bed forward with private access to the head. The 48 Open will cruise at 30 knots with a top end in the mid 30’s.
