About Tiara Yachts
Not many companies understand how physical space affects the way people interact with each other on a boat. It might be intuitive on some levels, but for countless boatyards, the need for open space not taken into account, leaves the boat feeling cramped. Instead, a Tiara Yacht is crafted with meticulous attention to detail and packed with an abundance of features. The space on Tiara boats creates breathing and moving room to promote a feeling of community between guests, captains, and crew. Ever since its initial founding in 1955 by Leon Slikkers, Tiara Yachts has always considered this important factor in their boat designs.
History of Tiara Yachts
Founder, Leon Slikkers, grew up on a farm to a family of little means. He was someone who took pride in his work and was not a stranger to working hard. “I have a quest for being the best,” Slikkers stated in a video.
So, when he was older, he traded in comfort for his dream of building boats. In a flurry, Leon sold his home and, with only $5000 in his hand, no job or place to call home; he started Slikkers Boats, his first boat manufacturing company that would eventually lead him to create Tiara Yachts and Pursuit Boats.
Tiara Boasts For Sale with Awarded Design
For example, the Tiara Sport 38 LS was awarded the 2018 Progressive Insurance Miami International Boat Show Innovation Award and comes as no surprise, as it is itself a reinterpretation of what it means to be a luxury sporting vessel. Despite a roomy atmosphere; bridge and lounge seats are accessible from both the port and starboard entries with an island-style outdoor galley, multiple social zones and wrap-around forward bow seating. It also cruises comfortably at 30 MPH and can reach a top speed of 50.
Are Tiara Yachts and Boats Good Quality?
The Slikkers are always trying to improve their designs. To this day, their hull designs are a constant innovation for the best and smoothest ride. Their dream is an ongoing process, not a final destination. That’s what makes Tiara Yachts so unique: the movement towards an ideal created by the challenge of each new project, the creation of personalized vessels, and the constant improvement of their handiwork in the process. Tiara Yachts was awarded the 2021 Marine Industry Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Award from the NMMA for outstanding customer satisfaction in multiple product segments.
