Fountain Powerboats all have one thing in common; speed. Since 1979, when racing legend Reggie Fountain Jr. founded the company that bears his name, Fountain Powerboats have been designed to run faster, farther, and better than other boats in their class.
Reggie Fountain earned a spot in boat racing history when he set two world records and won three national closed-course championships in a single day in only the second year of his racing career. During the 1970s, he dominated speedboat racing; in the 1980s, his company dominated speedboat production and sales.
All Fountain boats undergo a four-step construction process that includes heavy-duty marine adhesives, top-grade fiberglass, through-bolts with lockdowns, and rub rails screwed in place. Many customized options are available such as various options for the hull, radio, seating, and upholstery. Each boat is meticulously and carefully crafted and then tested in the water as part of the quality control process before it ever leaves the production facility.
All four models in the Bluewater Sports Series—34CC, 38CC, 38CC LS, and 39NX—are built with convenience, speed, and comfort in mind. They share these design elements; a center console, which is characteristic of Fountain fishing and cruising boats, Mercury Verado outboard engines (up to triple 400 HP) that promise lower fuel consumption and almost no noise or vibration, they use most updated technology and materials in navigation, instrumentation and construction.
The 32 Thunder CAT is in a class by itself in the Performance Series. Its safety features include a safety-cell cockpit protection structure, an impact-resistant windshield, and advanced carbon fiber–reinforced laminates. This model comes standard with the positive lift hull, an innovative design that Reggie Fountain introduced for his high-performance boats in the early 1990s. This hull decreases fuel consumption while increasing speed, handling, and agility.
Because Fountain powerboats made with the same care, diligence, and attention to detail that have characterized their production since their inception, the Fountain brand, says COO Joe Curran, has "the ability to transcend generations."
A Fountain Powerboat will take friends and family everywhere with speed, style, plenty of seating for guests and room for anglers to move. Best of all, the boat will retain its value and stay in demand.
