Colby was born and raised on the Alabama Gulf Coast where his love for boating and fishing developed. He worked at three different marinas in Orange Beach, Alabama growing up, where he built strong relationships with several fishing captains throughout the area. One of Colby’s best friends would take him fishing at a young age on their 68 sportfisher to explore the depths of the Gulf of Mexico. “This is where I truly fell in love with the bigger boats. I love center consoles, but fishing on a giant sportfisher made me realize how much I love the yachting industry.”
Colby is a graduate from the University of Alabama where he received his bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minor in management while focusing on entrepreneurship. He is a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity where he made lifelong best friends. He is a graduate of the Yacht Broker Institute and is a licensed Florida Yacht Broker.
Colby currently lives in Bradenton, Florida near Galati Yachts location on Anna Maria Island where he works as a sales professional. His goals never change. He wants to see that special smile he saw when his first customer bought the yacht of their dreams. “I couldn’t be happier. I live my dream every day.”
