Annual Viking Key West Challenge – April 2018
Another amazing Annual Viking Key West Challenge for the books! The Galati Family and friends had an incredible time cheering on our customers and getting to enjoy the beautiful Florida Keys with great company. We showcased our new 68 Viking Convertible and took her on several sea trials. Seeing these beautiful Viking Yachts from all over the country lining the docks in the Keys was truly an amazing view.
The fun events included group lunches poolside and meet & greets to allow the Viking owners to get a chance to bond over their similar love for the water and fishing. “Knot Guilty” won the annual “Poker Run” for a second year in a row! The “Poker Run” is where each boat creates a team and runs from place to place around Key West collecting cards in envelopes and the best hand wins! Everyone returned back to the Viking demo to turn in their cards and enjoyed docktails! This is always a fun event because it’s a great bonding experience with our customers.
As for the tournament, a huge congratulations to owners Sam and Edwin Freidman and team aboard “Ragin Cajun” who took 1st Place for the top boat! “Wanderlust” placed 2nd and “Irish Twin” took home 3rd.
Also, a big congrats to all of our lady anglers who finished at the top! Renee Dunn of “Ragin Cajun” was awarded Top Female Angler, Karen Hall of “Mr. Grinch” placed 2nd, and Nicole Ely of “Irish Twin” came in 3rd. We would also like to thank and congratulate everyone who participated in the event and took home prizes and trophies. The Annual Viking Key West Challenge is the perfect event for any Viking owner because it’s more than just fishing! It’s such a family fun atmosphere and we look forward to next year!
