What kicked off last year returns once more, the three major billfish tournaments in Florida’s panhandle region will join forces for the three-week Florida Panhandle Billfish Series. The series kicks off on June 11th with the Pensacola International Billfish Tournament, followed by the Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic in Sandestin, and concludes at the Bay Point Billfish Open in Panama City Beach.
Teams can earn points by participating in one, two, or all three events, with the series champion receiving a cash prize and a perpetual trophy. The series aims to promote top-level billfish tournaments, emphasizing sportsmanship, marine conservation, and the competitive spirit of offshore fishing. It is designed for those passionate about upholding integrity in sportfishing and preserving the sport for future generations.
